Dolly, after Ms. Parton of Course! Our little Southern Belle

This sweet little girl we rescued from Houston. When we got Dolly, previously named Brazil, she had 10 puppies she was nursing. We quickly learned from our vet that she should not nurse because she was on meds that would hurt the puppies. Dolly was so sad that we wouldn't let her near her babies, but she never lashed out, she didn't have an aggressive bone in her body. Dolly is steadily recovering in a foster home with her foster pig sister. : ) She had a slight skin infection that we are treating with medicated baths and she had a little bit of kennel cough that we are treated with Doxycycline. Dolly isn't contagious but just needs a little extra effort to get her back to a healthy weight and skin condition. This momma is a snuggle bug and whoever adopts her will be a luck son-of-a-gun. Dolly is super mellow, she is so excited to live in home that she just lays around on her bed. Dolly gets along with other dogs, and animals.... though we haven't had the chance to cat test her yet. Dolly is good with kids. If you are looking for a quiet sweet heart to lounge by your feet and put a head in your lap, Dolly is your girl.
