DBAB got a call from Queen Anne's Animal Welfare League about 3 dogs they had and if they could be transferred to our rescue, King is one of them. In the shelter King seemed wary of us, and I was wondering which way the dog was going to go, braver as he warmed up or more fearful as he was put into a totally new environment with my own 3 dogs, I was preparing myself for the worst. We got the 2 dogs we were able to take out of the 3 they wanted us to take home and settled and just let them decompress. The next few days we went very slowly with them as it was obvious they were scared, but other than being nervous the dogs were doing fine. King and I bonded really quickly, all the dogs I rescue have a little piece of my heart but, Oh King, with his sad eyes and long face. King is a sweetheart who really just wants belly rubs. King is still looking for his forever home, someone to let him sleep in the bed, and give him treats. Please contact us if you are interested in King... and you should be.
